Working on Lady Gaga's Halftime Show for Pepsi was one of the greatest joys of my advertising career. The love that she and her fans have for each other is unrivaled. I've always loved Gaga, but working with her team turned me into a die hard fan for life.
In 2017, Pepsi didn't have a Super Bowl Spot: their digital campaign around the halftime show was it. Fan Countdown, Lady Gaga’s Fanifesto, and Guest of Honor are pieces of the larger campaign I led with my creative partner at the CLS, with the goal of owning Super Bowl conversation on social. We hit it, with 50% more brand mentions on Twitter than the second place brand.
