I’ve been a Birchbox subscriber and super fan for four years, so when they turned off TV in favor of digital advertising, I was over the moon to get to creative direct the content. They have an amazing network of subscribers who love to tell their stories (like me!), so we were challenged with creating testimonials that embodied the energy and positivity of the brand and stood out from your typical talking head videos. Our team worked closely with the Birchbox team and their production partner The Bindery to concept, write, and design a whimsical world in which super fans Lauren and Christine could tell their own stories in a way that was positively Birchbox. The result was the Free To Beauty campaign.
